The Career Israel program offers a three-week Ulpan (Hebrew language study
program) during the first month of the program. The Ulpan generally
takes place in the Tel Aviv Career Israel housing. Several levels of classes
are offered and participants will be placed in a class according to a Hebrew
test that will be conducted at the beginning of the program.
The goal of Ulpan is to help students attain functional levels of Hebrew in
order to interact in Israeli society and to succeed in their internship. From
the beginner's classes to the more advanced levels, students are immersed in
the language and have the opportunity to use their daily lessons outside of the
classrooms.
A continuation evening Ulpan in both Tel Aviv and Jerusalem is available to
interested participants during the internship segment of the program at an
additional cost. The continuation ulpan is not part of the Career Israel
program, and not run under the auspices of the Israel Experience Ltd.
