Nachshon is a 10-month leadership training program for Israeli or Jewish high-school graduates from overseas. Nachshon is an authentic Israeli experience. It is the first program to bring high-school graduates to Israel to devote 10 months to social leadership together with their Israeli peers. This is not a tourist program. Nachshon participants speak Hebrew and live with Israelis in a completely Israeli environment.
Nachshon emphasizes leadership. The participants take an active role in the governing of the program along with the experienced staff. The program focuses on both study (of a wide range of subjects including Judaism, Israeli history, Zionism, environmental studies and more) and volunteer work, as well as other activities like a first-aid course, travel throughout the country, an army preparation week, a survival week, social events and more.
The program was initiated by a group of caring, non-partisan citizens who strove to improve society by investing in youth. It is approved and supervised by the Israeli Ministry of Education. It is also recognized by the Masa project www.masaisrael.org, and run in partnership with the Israel Experience, the leading organization in educational tourism in Israel.
Experience Bezalel
A year of study at the Bezalel Academy is an amazing way to spend a year studying and discovering the world of Art and Design. The Bezalel Experience program in Israel offers the opportunity to study within the field of Art and Design both theoretically and practically using all the different media. A combination of coursework as well as one day a week of volunteer placements in the area of Art and Design, students are exposed to both academic learning and exploration of the Israeli culture. Students also participate in educational seminars, social and cultural events throughout Israel, and profit from the assistance and guidance of an experienced staff.

The Rimon Music Experience
"The Rimon Music Experience" will provide you with a unique opportunity for music studies in Israel with an educational “Israel experience.
Rimon is Israel's largest independent professional contemporary music school, located in Ramat Hasharon (a suburb of Tel Aviv). Rimon offers eight majors: composition and arranging, film scoring, song writing, jazz performance, general performance, music production and engineering and an advanced program of composition, performance and production.
On the program students are integrated into classes at Rimon, and join ensembles with the Israeli students. In addition to the studies at Rimon, the program includes Hebrew study, tours throughout Israel, seminars on Israeli society, volunteering and the chance to explore one's personal identity as a Jew and a musician.
Our main goals and objectives:
- To give our students advanced knowlege and skills for arranging, composition, improvisation, performance, use of technology and music appreciation.
- To enhance students' knowledge and understanding of their Jewish heritage and to strengthen their Jewish identity.
- To give our students an opportunity to learn about and experience numerous aspects of Israeli society.
- To provide a diverse range of experiences throught which students can develop their personal connection to Israel.
- To provide an interactive experience with Israeli music students
